Going to Madison
So in a week or so I will be driving from Wilson through Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and arriving in Madison, Wisconsin. I'll definitely be stopping in Deadwood, SD! Don't even worry! My question to you is: you know any other places between Wyoming and Wisconsin that I should see on my drive?

So you're taking the I-90 route? You know, Google Maps says you'll save six minutes if you take I-80.
ReplyDeleteI recommend Sioux City. A tri-state city, it's shared between Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. It's also been selected as one of America's Best Places to Live, and as America's 14th Drunkest City.
I hope you also stop in Buffalo Gap National Grassland. I visited a national grassland near Lubbock, Texas. It's, well, grassy.
You should probably also pay homage to our good friend in Brandon, South Dakota. It's only about seven miles from Beaver Creek, which in turn is only a few miles from Blue Mounds State Park. Just a few miles North from Blue Mounds is Hardwick.
